Among the many Art Deco designed items given modernistic lines were jewelry, lamps, hood ornaments, fashion/clothing, furniture, bridges, light fixtures, cocktail sets, door handles, skycrapers, theatres, theatre seats, box office signs, advertisements, clocks, perfume bottles, cigarette cases, decorative gates, wrist watches, thimbles, decorative buttons, mirrors, fireplaces, restroom signs, coffee machines, cigarette vending machines, wall sconces, water fountains, exit signs, desk pen holders, vases, dishes, gas stations, greyhound bus stations, train stations, stairways, elevators, turnstiles, schools, museums, homes, hotels, nightclubs, ocean liners, trains, lobby mail slots, broadcasting buildings, airports, radio stations, court houses, motorcycles, cars, dealerships and even lawnmowers. Everyday objects including radios, cameras, vacuum cleaners, telephones, telephone booths and even toasters sported streamlining.

The most opulent art deco clocks were made of precious stones such as jade, crystal, gold and silver.  They were decorated with enamels and even diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires.
